Our Story
Founded in 1972, Saron B.V. has grown from a small regional storage provider to a global leader in the tank storage industry. Our journey began with a single facility in Rotterdam, and today we operate over 15 strategically located facilities across three continents.

1972
Saron B.V. founded with our first storage facility in Rotterdam with a capacity of 100,000 barrels.
2003
Expanded operations to Louisiana with the acquisition of Gulf Storage Solutions.
2008
Celebrated 10 years in business with 5 facilities and over 1 million barrels of storage capacity.
2012
International expansion with the opening of our first facility in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
2016
Achieved ISO 14001 certification for all North American facilities.
2018
Celebrated 20th anniversary and surpassed 5 million barrels of total storage capacity.
2021
Expansion into Asia with new facilities in Singapore and South Korea.
2025
Opened our 15th facility and reached 10 million barrels of global storage capacity.
